Receptionist/ Admin Assistant

As the receptionist it's down to you to make that all important, good first impression, so above anything else you'll need to have a good rapport with people to make them feel looked after and at ease.

Basic set of tasks you'll be in charge of:

• Greeting visitors, offering them refreshments and directing them to the right person
• Answering queries
• Answering calls and taking messages
• Screening phone calls
• Keeping the reception area tidy
• Looking after the visitor book
• Receipt of courier parcels, post, etc
• Data input and general admin

There is plenty of scope to expand this role and tailor it to the right individual's skills and interest.

Hours
9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, based in East Molesey

Skills and interests
You need:

• To enjoy dealing with people and have a polite, helpful manner
• An outgoing personality
• Good written and spoken communications skills
• The ability to stay calm under pressure
• Good organisational skills
• To be discreet and tactful
• To be self-motivated and able to use initiative
• Confidence when using a computer and office equipment

Training
Most of your training will be on the job, led by more experienced members of staff
