For this project Sound By Design took on all the technical disciplines; sound, lighting, AV, drapes, translation, speaker prompt and even the production for the launch of Hyster's new reach truck.

A 20m x 6m box truss was flown above the launch area, which had been defined by using warehouse racking as the set, and grandstand seating for the guests. Lighting included 14 moving lights with smoke and dry ice effects for the kabuki drop reveal. Two 14' x 10' flown screens and Christie X6 projectors were used for PowerPoint, Beta SP and DVD presentations.

For maximum impact we used a surround sound system for the reveal with speech from four Meyer Sound UPA-1Ps flown off the front truss. Four Meyer MSL-4s and two Meyer 650-Ps were placed into the warehouse racking to create left, centre, right with two Meyer UPA-1Ps on manfrotto stands for surround. The day began with the 'big' reveal in surround sound, followed by a demo of the truck given in four different languages throughout the remainder of the event. The day concluded with speeches and DVD video to send them on their way.
