Unique Venues of London, Somerset House - October 2005
Sound By Design has close links with many of the venues that make up UVL (Unique Venues of London). In October 2005, UVL put on a showcase at Somerset House, giving potential clients an opportunity to stroll round a pre-determined route to see the wide variety of corporate entertainment options at these amazing venues.
As an accredited supplier to Somerset House, Sound By Design contributed a sound system in the Seamen’s Waiting Hall for the opening address given by UVL chairman, Ian Lovett Fraser. Visual support in the form of plasma screens were also coordinated by the company in conjunction with the events department at Somerset House.
Many of the venue’s accredited suppliers contributed a very wide range of services including three lighting companies and six caterers. As one supplier remarked, it was “an opportunity to assess the competition and poach the staff”. It wasn’t deemed necessary to exchange business cards though! |
