Sound By Design supply systems to several major venues around the UK & the capital. London's Royal Albert Hall is one of our major clients where we are, in-fact, the in-house sound provider. This contract means that Sound By Design service a wide range of productions, many of which do not have the time to accommodate normal show sound check schedules. Pre-designed & aligned systems, with customised rigging, mean that on many occasions a 7am get-in can mean a 9am rehearsal - in a 5000 seater venue!

The company specialises in discreet mic techniques - to enable subtle theatre style reinforcement, which combined with the compact nature of our loudspeaker systems, does not give the game away to the audience. Our original production of English National Ballet's Swan Lake attracted a review from the Times newspaper in which the reviewer wrote "Whether inspired by the venue, or by the guest conductor, John Price-Jones, ENB's orchestra produced a bigger & brighter sound than normal".
