Elmhurst School for Dance is based in Camberley, Surrey. It is a performing arts school with a reputation for training the stars of tomorrow. The school expect the highest standards from their pupils, and with the help of Sound By Design and lead engineer Paul Turner, their Easter show was a truly professional production.

The show was a compilation of set pieces from several popular musicals, in contrast to the classical ballet for which the school is better known. It took place in the school's 250 seat theatre, with ample sound coverage provided by a pair of Meyer Sound UPA-1Ps flown left and right, four MPS-355s for front fill and two USW-1P powered sub-bass hidden behind the proscenium. The in-house band comprised two keyboard players and a drummer, with foldback from one small powered speaker. Drum screens had been provided to minimise spill into the cast's lapel mics, but were not needed as the experienced students provided more than enough vocal level.

Eight Trantec S5000 radio lapel systems were rotated amongst the large cast, with the aid of two students who performed some very rapid changeovers between numbers. In addition, four AKG SE300B/CK98 rifle mics were used for chorus reinforcement. A Denon DN-C680 instant start CD player and Tascam MD-801 Mk2 minidisc machine provided playback for some of the numbers.
