Following a very successful season with the BBC Proms last year we have again been contracted to supply all live sound requirements for this year's season.

The BBC Proms takes place at the Royal Albert Hall from 19th July to 14th September 2002. The event is a varied programme over the 73 concerts concluding with the last night. Sound By Design will supply sound reinforcement for many proms including Oliver Knussen, Schoenberg and Late night Gimenez.

This year, specialist systems will be designed for 'some' proms to include the United in Swing with Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Late night Flamenco and John Williams and friends - Impressions of Africa.

In addition to the concerts at the Royal Albert Hall we provide several smaller systems in the Serpentine Gallery for Poetry Proms, Pre-Prom talks in the Royal Albert Hall Auditorium and Royal College of Music. Prom chamber concerts are all held in the Victoria and Albert Museum, along with many others including composer portraits, lectures, composer events, study days and audience forums.
