As in previous years Sound By Design provided the system for "The Masters Tennis presented by Cunard" at London's Royal Albert Hall. The Masters Tennis (formerly The Honda Challenge) is firmly established as the UK's most popular indoor tennis tournament, with high-class competitive singles interspersed with entertaining doubles and exhibition matches.

The competition used our permanently installed system, comprising of flown Meyer MSL-2s and UPA-1Cs along with MPS-355 and UPM-1P choir, side and front-fills. This was also complemented with Meyer USW-1Ps providing the sub-bass and UPA-1Ps to cover the stage seating area.

Inputs were 2 Shure SM58 handheld radio microphones for on-court interviews, an AKG SE391B for the umpire, along with DVD and PC playback. We supplied the BBC with audio splits as several of the tournament matches were broadcast live on national television, and the remainder were recorded. The front-of-house desk was a Midas Venice 160, with BSS Omnidrive's and TCS-804's taking care of the system management.
