Ute Lemper, Savoy Theatre - July 2001
In July, Sound By Design designed and supplied the sound system in the Savoy Theatre when it played host to Ute Lemper's 'Naughty Baby' show for a 12 night run.
Ute, known to many for her leading role in Chicago, starred in a highly choreographed 2½ hr selection of songs and dance routines. She was supported by Mark Vincent (vocals), Russ Kasoff (keyboards), Mark Lambert (guitar), Todd Turkisher (drums) and Regg Washington (bass).
The system supplied for the 1,200 seater venue included Meyer Sound UPA-1Ps, UPM-1Ps and PSW-4s for auditorium coverage. The show was mixed on a Heritage 2000 used for both front-of-house sound & monitors.
