Almost two years to the day since Sound By Design joined forces with Delta Sound, and as part of the next phase in its development, the company is pleased to announce the appointments of Emma Gallagher and Lee Dennison as directors.
Emma, who previously held the position of Sound By Design General Manager and has been with the company for the past 11 years, will take on the role of business development and client relations. Lee, who has worked with sister company Delta Sound for over six years, will bring his considerable experience in technical delivery to his new role, helping to further raise the level of technical expertise within the project management team.
Sound By Design is proud to be accredited at a host of top London venues, an area it has continued to expand since its relationship with Delta began. Its biggest venue is currently the Royal Albert Hall, where it has been an in-house supplier since 1993. It also lists Somerset House, Kew Gardens, Royal Naval College, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and Royal Courts of Justice amongst its other regular venues.
“This is a niche market area that we will continue to grow,” says Emma. “We are now in an ideal position to move both businesses forwards. My new position will allow me to concentrate on maintaining the relationship we have with our existing clients and adding new venues to our roster. Having the formidable technical expertise that Lee has at his disposal adds great strength to our offering.”
“The past two years have been about consolidating the two businesses,” says Andy Callin, Managing Director of Sound By Design and Director of Delta Sound. “The appointments of Emma and Lee are part of a rationalisation of Sound By Design’s brand identity into the two distinct product lines.”
