The recent opportunity to take over a neighbouring unit and bring the office back under the same roof as the warehouse was just too tempting an offer to pass over, so Chappie and the team once again found themselves on the move.

The new unit offered roughly the same floor space, but in a much more practical layout with space for a larger workshop, more shelving and the possibility of constructing an editing studio. It did, however, need some preparation so warehouse staff found themselves again painting the floor, whilst all the windows and doors were replaced with double glazed UPVC and new blinds were hung. A new heating system was also installed, to keep the boys warm in winter.

Once this was finished, Chappie set to work building a new cable racking system that could be expanded as the company grows, which now occupies one wall of the new warehouse. With this finished the cables were moved, as was the racking and the rest of the equipment.

With the old prep-room now empty, its reconstruction as the new office began. Chappie was evicted from his comfy office to make way for the Managing Director and moved into an office the size of a shoe box, which had a new door punched through into the warehouse to allow easy access. New mains and telecommunications infrastructure was installed to facilitate the re-installed air conditioning and network systems and everyone pitched in to paint the walls. New carpet and the struggle of moving furniture followed, with the end result being a very pleasant working environment.
